After we hung out at Monarch, we had a lovely lunch, went to visit puppies at a local adoption place and the i was dropped off back at my hotel.

2. Real or Artificial tree ? Real, but for the past few years we have had a fake tree. This year we will have both.
3. When do you put up the tree? When time permits. The fake tree will go up soon after we move.... this weekend? or maybe next? The real tree will be chopped and installed when The Girl Child and her hubby come home for Christmas, probably on the 22nd.
4. When do you take the tree down? A week or so after Christmas.
5. Do you like Eggnog? Not really.
6. Favorite Gift you received as a child? Don't recall any specific Christmas gift as a child.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? yes, several.
8. Hardest person to buy for? spouse
9. Easiest person to buy for? myself....LOL....probably my kids.
10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? A hairdryer. I don't even use a hairdryer!! (sorry sweetie... love you tons anyway)
11. Christmas Cards...Snail mail or E-mail? Snail mail.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I love the old classic cartoons - Rudolf, Frosty, etc. I like teh movie - the one where the Ralphy wants a bb gun...
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually around November... but I am always in a panic around Dec. 20th.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? NO.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Hubby's Christmas Tomales.
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Multi-color. We trade off each year on who gets to decorate. I like "themed" trees, hubby likes everything but the kitchen sink trees.
17. Favorite Christmas Song? Silent Night.
18. Travel at Christmas or Stay Home? Stay home
19. Can you name Santa's Reindeer? Nope.
20. Do you have an Angel or a Star on top of your tree? Sometimes an angel, sometimes a star, one year a sombrero. Felis Navidad!!
21. Open the Presents Christmas Eve or Morning? Christmas morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Christmas music in the stores the day after halloween. GAG. & peopple being too PC. It's christmas OK. Don't wish me happy holiday or call it a "family tree" it's a stinkin' Christmas parade not a santa parade... there is a reason why we celebrate holiday... ok so it's waaaay commercialized now and most kids don't know the story of baby Jesus, etc.... but HELLLLOOOO... it's Christmas.. not a winter break.. nuff said, off my soap box now, thank you for your time.
23. Shopping...mall or online? I prefer to touch and feel. Mostly the mall or small mom and pop shops.
24. Do you decorate outside for Christmas or just inside (or at all?) Mostly inside.
25. Favorite Christmas cookie? the kind that are still warm out of the oven.
26. Do you own Christmassy clothing or jewelry? Yes. A sweater and a pin or 2.
27. Do you believe in Santa? I believe in the spirit of santa.. think of hte old editorial Yes, Virginia There is a Santa Clause.... i love that!!
